Brian Edwards is an entrepreneur and founder BCE Emergis. Under his leadership as CEO from 1988 to 2002, he grew the company grew from a start-up to of one of North America’s most successful electronic commerce companies. For ten consecutive years Emergis was named one of the 100 fastest growing companies in Canada and also one of the 500 fastest growing companies in America.
In addition to being Chairman of the Board of Miranda Technologies Inc., Brian Edwards is Chairman of the Board of Biotonix Inc. and a member of the Board of Directors of Camoplast Inc and Impath Networks Inc.
Brian Edwards is very active in the community. He is vice-chairman of the Board of Governors of Concordia University. He is a past president of CATA (Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance) and has been very active in Centraide/United Way including being a past Co-Chairman of the Centraide of Greater Montreal campaign.
Brian Edwards lives in Montreal and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University (Loyola).
