 Pat was born in Montreal, Quebec and attended McGill University and has had a long and distinguished business career including serving on the boards of various government, public and private corporations: he was the Chairman of Canada Development Investment Corporation, President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Patino N.V., and Chairman of the Board of St. Michael’s Hospital with which he has been associated for 24 years, currently as a Director of the Foundation. He is an enthusiastic philanthropist giving generously to St. Michael’s Hospital (now building the Keenan Research Centre) and various medical, cultural, arts and environmental programs. He is a Member of both the Order of Canada and the Order of Ontario. |
